Celebrating the success of Biocodex Vietnam’s Pharmacy Kick-off Meetings: From Its Origins To Our Future
In March 2025, Biocodex Vietnam successfully hosted two Pharmacy Kick-off Meetings in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi under the theme, “From Its Origins to Our Future”. These very first milestone events reflected our commitment to healthcare innovation and collaboration, bringing together over 370 pharmacists and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) across both cities and nearby provinces.
During the event, Mr. David Fontana (General Manager, Biocodex Vietnam) represented the leadership team to share the vision and mission of “providing innovative healthcare solutions” to continuously improve the health of Vietnamese people. At the same time, Biocodex affirmed its serious efforts in investing in key development areas, including: Microbiota Care, Women’s Intimate Healthcare, Primary Care and Analgesia.
These gatherings were enriched by inspiring keynote speeches, including sessions from Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan in Ho Chi Minh City and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha in Hanoi, both of whom provided invaluable insights into microbiota –the future of healthcare.
As we continue this journey, Biocodex Vietnam remains committed to our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical solutions while fostering collaborations that drive innovation and excellence in healthcare.
Vietnam is the birthplace of the specific yeast strain Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745, discovered by biologist Henri Boulard during a business trip to Vietnam. This place is also the origin of the founding of Biocodex in France. Biocodex Vietnam will be the first official subsidiary of the group in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company’s opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2025, at the Biocodex Vietnam headquarters (Empress Tower, Ho Chi Minh City). This will be an opportunity for Biocodex to officially announce its vision and commitment to this potential market.
